Are you the type that stores information on flash drives? If yes , have you ever been in a situation to use the files urgently but no computer around to help you retrieve the file? If yes again.. How were you able to retrieve the file(s)? And if No, Imagine a situation where by you went to a remote area far from city with no computer or any means to get to use one, and you asked to send a document (e.g CV, Project etc) that is inside your flash drive to another person in need of it urgently but staying very far away through email.



Luckily you are privileged to have an android devices running kitkat 4.4.2 minimum. All you need to do is transfer the file from the flash drive to the phone and attached the file to the email about to be sent and completely attached you can the send that. This can be done very easily with what we call OTG cable i.e “ON THE GO” transfer cables. On The Go cables something like the below image. One end enter your Android device and the other end accepts USB and it is here that the flash drive will enter.

It is very simple to use all you need to do is get your flash drive, OTG cable and your android device that is all.. The android device will recognize it and you will be able to access the files on the flash drive and be able able to exchange files between your drive and android device.
