There
are few other ways you can emulate android on PC apart from using the common
Bluestacks player that we all know.
I
will start by listing few other emulators and where you can download them but
the fact is there will be no need for you to download them after you finish
reading this tutorial. The other emulators includes
1. Windroy: is a free program similar to
BlueStacks App Player which can run the Android operating system from a window
on your desktop it is a free license software and still under development i.e
Not all apps will run perfectly. It currently emulates Android 4.0.3 OS on
desktop you can download that here http://www.windroy.com/
Youwave: this is another emulator that supports Android version 4.0 ICS & 2.3 Ginger Bread apart from it supporting outdated Android OS, to enjoy the full service you have to get the paid version. Supports Android 4.0 ICS (Home Version (new)) and 2.3 Gingerbread (Basic Version)
Other features are
- Runs on Windows XP/Vista/7, 32/64 bit
- Simulated SD card functionality - enables game saving
- Saved State - enables fast restart
- Enables multi-player online games
- Dynamic rotating - phone-like instant response (new)
- Volume control buttons (new)
- Retractable control panel (new) Download link here http://youwave.com/download.html
I used
it once but not functioning again for me screenshot below
3. Another option here is using SDK manager. We all know that this is very slow which is unargueably annoying. No much talk on that. http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Again you can
download Virtual
box for windows alone and download “android-x86-4.3-20130725.iso” then install
android as a virtual OS. This is also annoyingly sluggish. Download link here https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
(VirtualBox-4.3.2-90405-Win)
this is not where it ends .... just a tips of an ice bag. stay connected WATCH OUT FOR PART 2
